Taming the Homeschool Information Overload Monster

This is the title of today’s Homeschool Freebie of the Day, and it’s wonderful.  If you have information or resource overload, this little freebie will help you immeasurably.  Usually the resources at this site are only available for a day, but I’ve requested that this one be available for longer since it is so great.

So check this resource out today. If you don’t see this post until later, check the site out anyhow.  There’s often something useful, and who knows, this resource may still be available.

I’ve signed up for a weekly Heads Up email  about the Freebies of the Day, so that every day I know in advance if I want to check out that day’s offering.  In fact, the ones I’m interested in get written in my planner.

I sincerely hope you get to this on time.

Tomorrow’s offering is 5 weekly lessons for beginning homeschoolers.  If you know anyone who is starting to homeschool, this may be just the thing for them.  Actually, I’m going to get it too, even though I’ve been homeschooling forever, since there will probably be one or two pieces of advice that will streamline our homeschool.

Disclosure

Rereading this post, I noticed it sounds like a commercial, so I’m adding a disclosure.  I get nothing extra for telling you about Homeschool Freebies of the Day.  I use this site to get free resources for our family, and sometimes they are so good that I need to pass them on.

I've used their site for a while, too, although I often forget to check, even with the heads up (wish it were a daily email instead)! Good reminder.

    Annie,

We'll leave this one up through the weekend at least. Thanks for the kind comments… it is much appreciated!

Jenn, when I get the heads up email, I actually write it in my planner for each day I want to download something. I used to forget downlads too, before I started doing this.

Jim, thank you very much for leaving it up a bit longer. I'm sure a lot of people will benefit from it.

Thanks for posting this! I'm so glad I was able to stop by and see this. (We've been w/o a computer for a couple of days.)
