The Family Manager’s Creed by Kathy Peel

Kathy Peel has written several popular books about family management. Although I have not yet read any of them, I just had to share her “Family Manager’s Creed.”     Here it is:

The Family Manager’s Creed

I oversee an organization—

Where hundreds of decisions are made daily,

Where property and resources are managed,

Where health and nutritional needs are determined,

Where finances and futures are discussed and debated,

Where projects are planned and events are arranged,

Where transportation and scheduling are critical,

Where team-building is a priority,

Where careers begin and end.

I oversee an organization—

I am a Family Manager.

Sometimes we just need to be reminded that our role is important in so many ways and for so many reasons.  The main reason, however, is that God has called us to manage our homes well.

May God bless you all, my fellow family managers!

Yes, I think we all need that reminder from time to time. 🙂

That is some good stuff! That should be posted on every refrigerator as a constant reminder. 🙂
