So true, Annie Kate! I’ve been keeping a “Thank you” journal a few years ago and counting my blessings every day helps keep me upbeat on the “bad” days.

I think that was a large part of the message of One Thousand Gifts too, with its gratitude list. Counting one’s blessings and thanking God for them is always a good thing in so many ways. I’ve never done it in written form, Hope, but we do it most days at the supper table and it’s beautiful.
