Fluffy balls of snow drifting down relentlessly, exploding softly on our faces….
We don’t have a lot of snow like some of you do, but we are enjoying what we do have…except for the shovelling and the driving.
And while it is coming down, before it means work and danger, it is so beautiful and makes our home feel so cozy!

Wow! That’s nice and warm. It’s cold here again with dangerous wind chills. But we have a cozy fire and that makes a huge difference!

I wanted to look around the corner for you. It is still snowing? Are you going to make a snowman? Here it is winter but I can smell spring a bit! This morning I heard whistling blackbirds in the garden. That made me so happy.

No, Jedidja, we cannot make a snowman. When it is this cold the snow does not stick at all; instead it is like powder! I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced that.
But we did have a warmish day yesterday, -6C, and it did smell a bit like spring. My daughter did not wear a jacket when we went out because it felt so nice and warm to her! 🙂
