Deal on The Old Schoolhouse Magazine

Canadian Gift Subscription Plus Current Issue

As we head back into  school mode, I’m eagerly waiting for my fall issue of The Old Schoolhouse magazine.  It will be glossy, encouraging, and full of all sorts of interesting tidbits.  If you’re interested in trying it out for yourself, this is a great time to subscribe.

Currently, TOS magazine is offering a deal to celebrate the beginning of homeschooling, our “Labor of Love”. They are offering a one-year print subscription for just $7.95 (starting with the winter issue) or a one-year plus current issue print subscription (starting with the fall issue that I’m expecting any day) for only $12.95.  The sale ends at midnight on September 15, or until all 5000 of these specials have gone.

Disclosure:  For letting you in on this deal and for my earlier post about the Homeschool Expo, I’m getting a free Expo To Go from TOS.  To me this is a win-win-win situation.  You find out about some great deals; TOS, a wonderful homeschool supporter, is able to spread its encouraging message to more homeschoolers; and our family benefits from the Expo.

This post is linked to the Works for Me Wednesday Back to School Edition as well as to Frugal Friday.

Good for you getting those freebies! I’m glad you will get some good use from them.

When my TOS magazine comes, I feel like I’m attending a convention in the comfort of my own home. Their magazines are awesome!

A friend of mine who was doing missionary work in England was supposed to start writing for them. So far, I’ve only seen one article from him.

Hey Stacy, you should see if you can write for them! That would suit you to a T!

Annie Kate, I just don’t know if I could manage to put one more thing on my plate right now. Plus, their articles so often cater to large families. I don’t know that they’d see me as having anything to offer.

Oh, I don’t want to stress you out!! But if you ever have time and energy to spare, I think you’d do a marvellous job.

You do have so much to share: you are showing how a commitment to homeschooling is possible even in tough financial times when mom has to go out to work. Also, your organizational tips would help any mom.

Hey Annie Kate, does this deal on TOS apply to Canada too?

    1. Annie Kate says:

Yes, apparently it does! The ad is a bit confusing, but it’s worth a try anyhow. 🙂
