What a day! Here is what entered our home today:
- What Am I? a collection of short stories from All About Reading, to review for the Crew.
- Outliers: the Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell, from the library. I’ve been waiting for this for quite a while, and it looks fascinating.
- The Mouse the Saved the West by Leonard Wibberley, from the library for the umpteenth time. This is so much fun!
- Small Farm Canada magazine, always an inspiring peek into a world just beyond us.
- Darwin: The Voyage that Shook the World, a DVD from the library. We sat down and watched it immediately, and wow, was it well done! I will probably review this sometime soon.
- And, best of all: a very colourful and cheerful invitation to a Spring Party—‘for an evening of girlie happiness and chit chat.’ I’d known there was an invitation in the mail, and have been waiting eagerly. Opening the envelope was so exciting, like spring itself wafting in! I am very thankful to be feeling better; Lord willing I will be able to attend.
Happy Spring to you, too.
