Here’s a list of great Word Press plugins for mommy bloggers. This is a must-read for all new HSB users. It even includes a permalink migration plugin! I’ve just spent hours working on that manually, and I still have hours to go…. so I’m not sure if I should use it halfway in the process. But if you want to have descriptive permalinks instead of numerical ones, you should check this out. (Note: I’ve just been informed that we on HSB cannot use these all yet; each plugin has to be approved and added to the site first. It’ll be fun when they are available.)
Someday I’m going to turn my tea cup into a blog button. Blogging with Amy and Like a Bubbling Brook both describe how to do it.
Kristen at We Are That Family describes her blog calendar. On a similar theme, Angie asks her readers about balancing your online life and your off-line life. Her readers answer in the comments.
On the Company Porch explains the new HSB comment options.
Happy blogging!

Thanks so much for the link love! I hope the blog button tutorial comes in handy when you’re ready to go for it!! 🙂
Thanks! I will hope to have some time later to check these out.

Thank you for the helpful notes… Also, thanks for stopping by my training Happy hearts blog to comment today. I do blogger for our homrschool blog and wordpress for our family blog, so your hints will come in handy!
I couldn’t get the “email me” feature to work, even when I followed the directions on the link you listed. Once I’ve had a good night’s sleep, I’ll try again. Right now, I’m headed to bed to read for a bit, then off to sleep. I actually get to sleep in tomorrow! I finally have a day off before working the weekend.
