Occasionally people need a change. Intense math competitions with kids from around the globe are just the ticket for my kids. They love World Math Day . They improve their arithmetic knowledge (if you need to count on your fingers, you’ll never win!), learn about geography and time zones, and have a great time. What’s more, it’s all free.
And if you want to try it yourself, they’ve added a category for adults, too. I can understand why there was a demand for that. Ahem.
We’ve just discovered that the same people host a World Spelling Day as well. It’s noisy, so I’ll need to replace our broken earphones, but it looks very good.
