I love sending cards, but the paper ones don’t work for me. First I have to remember to get them, then to put a stamp on them, and then to mail them. Usually one of those is forgotten…and no card gets sent.
Our solution: ePostcards. This enormous collection of art postcards contains some of the world’s most beautiful artwork (click on the postcard button). It is free and has no advertising. Although this site is meant to be an art resource for students and teachers, it is also the best postcard site I’ve found.
We have used the Web Gallery of Art for several years and have never had any problems. I always enjoy changing fonts, background color, and lettering color to match the artwork, although I’ve never tried adding music.
Enjoy connecting with your family and friends using art!

Thanks for posting that site. We do manage to send cards but they are often late. I like the idea of sending artwork.

That sounds like a neat site! I will pass on the link to dd, who is quite an artist, so she ought to really enjoy it.
What a great resource. Thank you for sharing it.

You are right, not only is it great for postcards, but also for art history. I didn't realize that until this year. Oops!
