I’ve been planning our year, and yesterday morning’s church service was such a comfort. Our sermon, based on James 4:13-17, reminded us that our God is in charge of our lives. We are not in control, no matter how carefully we plan or how hard we work. If our plans are not good for our family, our loving, all-powerful Father will adjust them.
His plan might not appeal to us and might even involve great difficulties, but we can be confident that His plan is best.
So, in the midst of our hard work and diligent school planning, we can (and must) say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” (James 4:15)
Blessings to you all at the beginning of this school year.
Thank you and blessings to you too. We are starting today.
Yep, we can make our plans, but it is He who orders our steps. And I add, thankfully it is not up to us! Usually my schooling changes from how I see things going the beginning. This year I have the joy of working in weekly trips to see my grandparents in their nursing home an hour away. Not what I planned, but such a rich time of learning about life.

that's an important reminder, and it's a good time to share that with everyone.
Hope you're enjoying what's left of summer 🙂
