To accomplish something,
whether it is a big project or a tiny one,
break it into little steps,
and
do one step at a time,
until it is finished.

Very true, indeed. It is the same when we are training our children. Rather than just say, "Clean your room," we should be specific. "Pick up the dirty clothes and put them in the laundry room." "Put your toys in your toybox." "Make your bed," etc.
I found breaking it down really helped my daughter not to be so overwhelmed by the task of cleaning her messy room. Now that she understands she must do it in segments, she can handle it.
Yes, it's such a valuable lesson to learn young! It continues to be valuable even for me, and I'm not all that young anymore. 🙂
