Little flakes of white floated down among the raindrops. Snow! Yes, indeed, snow in the middle of October! Littlest Miss has her parka ready as well as her snow boots, and she’s choosing mittens from the box… but she won’t need them today. Unlike in the prairies, the snow isn’t lasting at all here, and I’m thankful.
We’ve had a cool summer and a cold fall, but I pray we won’t have a cold winter.
If you live in a warm clime, enjoy your shorts and your cool lemonade. Up in Canada, we’re wearing sweaters and drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows.
Wow! Snow. That is hard for me to imagine this time of year. π Hope your sweetie had fun.
I wanted to thank you for your words of encouragment on my blog! I really do appreciate them. It can be hard to go against the "norm" sometimes and words of encouragment can go a long way.
Blessings
Leslie
We're wearing sweaters, slippers, fleece blankets and sipping hot cocoa or hot tea, too. π Kansas had tiny bits of snow on Saturday, but they didn't turn anything white. π

The weather has turned really cold here, and damp as well. LOTS of rain. I am off work tomorrow, and am looking forward to staying under warm blankets, drinking cappuccino. π
Well, we don't have snow here in Ohio, but flurries are predicted in a few days. Fall came quickly. 2 weeks ago we had temps in the 70's; this week highs are in the 40's. We also have drizzly rain. It's the sort of weather that makes me want to curl up thankfully in our nice warm house.
