Two years and one month ago I did not know what blogs were. I did know they were on the computer and that my husband enjoyed them. That’s all.
Then I got curious. After a long illness I had some new-found energy, but not enough to be active physically. Why not try blogging?
A lot of virtual ink has been spilled since then. Tea Time with Annie Kate is now two years and 510 posts old. And this evening, when I searched for a reformed opinion on an author whose work puzzles me, Bing astonished me by putting one of my own posts in fourth place! Google is, perhaps, more realistic, but for now I love Bing.
Looking back over these two years, I’m also very thankful.
- I’m thankful for my new friends, first from Homeschool Blogger and later throughout the blogosphere.
- I’m grateful for all I’ve learned about homeschooling, curriculum, reviewing, blogging, and frugality, both from reading other blogs as well as from preparing my own posts.
- I’ve been so blessed to be able to encourage other moms even when I was housebound due to health or other responsibilities.
- From my own home I’ve even been allowed the opportunity to be a vocal Christian in a world gone mad. I am so grateful for that!
Thank you, my friends and readers, for sticking with me, even when I moved my blog last month. I thank you for your support, your comments, and your emails. Especially, I thank you for your prayers.
May God enable us all to be salty salt for Him. (Matthew 5:13)
Happy anniversary!
