I found this gem in Courageous Living by Michael Catt:
1.When in doubt, don’t.
2.Be where you are supposed to be,
when you are supposed to be there,
doing what you are supposed to be doing. (p 85)
As Catt says, those two rules pretty much cover every life situation.
