Almost every single day I bump into information or ads about The Money Saving Mom®’s Budget, Crystal Paine’s new book. Since I’ve been trying to save money much longer than Crystal has, and since I read her blog, I wondered if her book would help our family.
So when Homeschool Freebie of the Day offered a free download of chapter 7 entitled “25 Ways to Save Money Without Using Coupons” I eagerly checked it out.
Conclusion? Yes, it’s good. It’s not earth-shattering, but full of common sense reminders. If you need to save money on groceries, you should download the free chapter.
I still haven’t decided whether or not The Money Saving Mom®’s Budget should be part of our family’s budget (I suspect it will), but in the meantime I have asked the library to buy it. For more information about it, you could join The Money Saving Mom®’s Budget Book Club over at Amy’s Finer Things.
Disclosure: Neither Homeschool Freebie of the Day nor Money Saving Mom has compensated me in any way for this post. I’m just sharing helpful information with my readers.

I’ve heard a lot about this book too. I really would like to read it, but haven’t bought it yet either. I’m getting some personal spending money tomorrow when my husband gets paid, so I think I may splurge and get it. 🙂
I follow her blog too, and have been debating about getting her book. Good idea asking the library to get it! Thanks for linking up your thoughts to NOBH!
Thanks for the information. I am always looking for ways to be a better steward of our resources. I will check this out. Thanks for sharing with NOBH! Smiles –
