Fit Mommy Friday

Early morning is my blogging time, but today I spent those hours in blissful slumber.  When colds and strep throat are in the air, sleeping is good, of course, but now I only have a few minutes to post my Fit Mommy check in.

Here?s how I did with my goals.

Average at least 6000 steps, five days a week.  Not this week.

Do my physio exercises regularly.   No.

Avoid sugar six days a week.    Almost, but I had a tiny piece of fudge and a few chocolate covered peanut butter balls.  Yum!

Eat lots of vegetables and yoghurt.  Lots of veggies every day, yoghurt a few times this week, and kefir every day.

Rest daily. Absolutely.

I hope you?ve had a very fit week!

If you want to join Fit Mommies, just visit Denise at Got Chai?  As you can tell from my posts, you don?t need to be very active or healthy to participate, although some of the Fit Mommies are.

  1. Sure hope that sickness avoids you! So far I’ve managed to keep away, myself. Keep working on your goals, remembering it’s progress not perfection! Happy Valentine’s Day! HUGS!

Some days/weeks are just a little slower, aren’t they? I mean the physical activity part…the rest of life seems to keep up the pace. We were under the weather this week, and so the good start I made at getting outdoors and going for walks last week did not carry over. But I am feeling better again, and so is my walking partner, so hopefully next week will be better. Any plans for attending Winterlude this year?

The older kids are going to the canal today, but other than that, we have no Winterlude plans. Pretty silly, isn’t it? People come from great distances to enjoy it, and we’re close enough by to get there easily but never do. I suppose it’s because we’re not in holiday mode.

Sorry to hear you’ve been ill. I hope you are feeling better soon.

I came home last night, absolutely stressed. I worked out really hard on the Wii for over an hour. I was calm the rest of the night and I slept wonderfully well!
