Fit Mommy Friday

Again this week, I did very little formal exercise, but lots of cleaning, puttering about, and so on.   At my energy level, that is still serious exercise, so I’m not displeased with the week.

Go for a walk at least once a day… almost.

Do calisthenics at least 3 times a weekCleaning, gardening, and dejunking are exercise, too.  Right?

Avoid sugar six days a weekNo way.  We had gluten-free chocolate cake with pineapple cream cheese icing, and pancakes with raspberry sauce.  That’s much too much sweet stuff, and I can tell.  We used to use about 6 pounds of sugar a year for our family; that has certainly changed, and I’m not sure it’s good.

Eat lots of vegetables and yoghurt.  Yes.  Drink kefir.  No.  Sigh.  I have to deal with my kefir sometime soon, but I’m afraid it may no longer be good.

Rest daily, and do more fun things with the kids…  We just came back from a crazy hike along the river.  The children loved it!

    Sounds like you are doing well!
    chocolate cake with pineapple cream cheese frosting? sounds delicious!!
    I have not exercised in weeks. I’ve been having some problems, then got out of my routine. I hate when that happens! (smiles) I am going to try to get back to it today.
